The NH Drinking Water & Wastewater Managers School is now accepting applications for the 2017 management course. Applications are due by November 1, 2016.

The Department of Environmental Services has a new award program for individuals, groups or municipalities who are educating the public about wastewater issues.  The award will be announced at the NHWPCA spring trade show in 2017. Nomination Form for the Award for Outstanding Public Outreach in Wastewater – Deadline February 1, 2017.

NEWEA Operator Exchange Program – As a participating member association of NEWEA, the New Hampshire Water Pollution Control Association is proud to act as host for an operator from the State of Rhode Island this year in September. The Board of Directors is now soliciting treatment plants that might be willing to be part of the tours for our Rhode Island guest in September.
The Operator Exchange Program provides opportunities for operators to attend meetings, visit or tour different treatment plants for several days of skill enhancement, networking and knowledge exchange. The Operator Exchange involves 2-3 days of touring, meetings and travel that is hosted by operators in the participating State. The Board of Directors is now soliciting a volunteer to be this year’s Operator Exchange representative for New Hampshire.

NEWEA announces local student to represent NH in prestigious water science competition.

The Sewer Snakes are seeking new team members for the 2016 competition year.
