Treasurer

Appointment to this position is for a three-year term.

Hold onto your hats. After nearly 10 years of service, Steve Clifton is stepping down as the NHWPCA Treasurer. Steve has been diligent in keeping the Association in the green, while working full time at Underwood Engineers. He has done all this with a keen sense of finances and a wonderful sense of humor. The new Treasurer is Nancy Lesieur. In her new role as the chief financial officer of the Association, Nancy is responsible for the accounting of all income and expenditures of the Association. She reports directly to the President. Other duties of the Treasurer include:

  • Timely submittal of necessary information relative to income taxes, non-profit status and bulk mailing privileges
  • Responsible for working with and providing financial information to the President, the Board of Directors, and all Association committee chairpersons as required
  • Empowered to disburse Association monies on a day to day basis as is necessary for the operation of the Association
  • Prepare reports to be included in the Fall issue of the Association newsletter

After 25 years working at the Nashua Wastewater Treatment Facility, Nancy is now employed by the State if NH DES - WRBP in Franklin.

At the City of Nashua she was the Lab Supervisor at the Wastewater Treatment Facility. She has been involved in laboratory and pretreatment work for the past 25 years. Nancy has a B.A. in Microbiology from the University of NH.  She has served on and chaired many NHWPCA and NEWEA committees over the past two decades.  Nancy feels strongly that the ability to participate in volunteer associations has gained her a wealth of knowledge and a great network of professional friends throughout New England.
