Student Scholarship

The NHWPCA is pleased to announce Jeff McNeill is the 2011 winner of our annual scholarship. Jeff is a graduating senior of Pinkerton Academy who has been involved with the FIRST robotics competition for the past four years and an avid skier. As son of past NHWPCA president, Fred McNeill, Jeff has shown a keen interest in engineering. He will be attending Colorado State University pursing an Environmental Engineering degree. He hopes to combine the problem solving skill learned with his love of the outdoors to find solutions in protecting the environment and its natural resources.

The NHWPCA will award a yearly $1000.00 scholarship to a graduating senior who meets the eligibility requirements as listed in the informational document. The scholarship normally opens in February with the applications due in April. Finalists will be selected and will be notified by the Scholarship Committee.

Here is the 2011 application and announcement . The deadline for postmarked entries is March 4, 2011. The winner will be announced April 16, 2011. When going to college, every little but helps. Good luck!
