Ed has been an association
member for 29 years.
As President, Ed has the
power to make decisions necessary for the day-to-day
management of Association business in between meetings of
the Board of Directors. Also, the President oversees the
work plans developed by the NHWPCA committees and evaluates
the effectiveness of these committees.
As President, Ed is chair of
the Board of Directors and is therefore responsible for
setting and mailing the agendas for the Board of Directors
meetings and providing a current annual calendar.
During his presidency, Ed's
main goal is to continue to improve the communication of the
Association to it's membership and increase membership.
Ed also oversees the NH
Seacoast Sewer Rats Operations Team, of which the
NHWPCA is a proud sponsor of.
Ed is a Senior Project
Manager at Underwood Engineers, Concord, NH. He brings 36
years of wastewater experience to the Board. He has
extensive experience in wastewater treatment design,
construction, operation and operator training.
Ed holds a B.S. from the
University of Massachusetts, Amherst and a M.S. in Sanitary
Engineering from the University of Maine. He is a licensed
P.E. in NH, VT and MA.
Ed's favorite NHWPCA memory
includes coaching and competing in the Operations Challenge
events. He also enjoys art, hiking and kayaking.
