The Second Director for 2012 is Peter Goodwin


The duties and responsibilities of the second director include:

  • Serves the lead role in the annual operator exchange program which occurs in the fall.
  • Responsible for organizing the fall meeting
  • Serve a support role in organizing the winter meeting
  • Designated as ex-officio member of the Operations Challenge, Scholarship and Activities Committees Education and Safety Committees and reports events and activities to the Board of Directors
  • May serve in any function or capacity at the behest of the President

Peter is a Vice President and Senior Client Manager for Woodard & Curran working in the Portland, Maine and Andover, Massachusetts Offices. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in New Hampshire, Maine, and
Massachusetts with engineering degrees from the University of Maine and Northeastern University.  He began his career as a resident field engineer in 1985 and has worked on planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater infrastructure and treatment facilities throughout the Northeast.

Peter resides in York, Maine with his wife Susannah, son Scott, and daughter Isabel. He is an active member of NEWEA, APWA-New England, MWWCA, NHWPCA, MWUA, and NEWWA. He enjoys winter and summer activities in the Rangeley Region of Maine. Peter looks forward to assisting NHWPCA's continued growth and support of it's operators, vendors, regulators and consultants.
